スタジオでレコーディングしてきてやったぜぃ。

2012.8.11（土）
盆休みのスタートのこの日。
うちのバンド的にもＺ的にも２回目となるレコーディングスタジオへ行ってまいりました。

そういえばうちのバンドのこと全然話してませんでしたね（笑）

Ｆｒｏｃｋ’ｓ（フロックス）
Vo＆G：Mihiro
G：ZE-TA
Ｂ：Kyouko
Key：Masa
Dr：Ogawa

となっとります。
コーラスは適当に誰かがとったりしますが
主にＺですね。

作詞作曲はMihiroが担当。
ギターじゃかじゃかと歌を入れたトラックをＺがもらって
適当にDTMで形にして皆に聞かせて、スタジオでバンドアレンジする感じです。

ってことで本題のレコーディングの話。

今回は新曲２曲のドラム録りと、前回収録分の１曲をOgawaさんがドラムトラック差し替えたいとのことで、その３曲分のドラムを録るのが目標。

あわよくばVoとＢも一緒に録ってしまおう！って魂胆でいるが
二兎追うものは・・・・

いえ、なんでもありませんよ？（滝汗）

１週間ほどまえにＯｇａｗａさんが仕事の過労からぶっ倒れまして
一時はどうなることか？と思いましたが
奇跡的（？）にＯｇａｗａさん復活！！

そんなに忙しかったんすか？Ｏｇａｗａさん？

「ドラクエやる時間作りたかったんで仕事いっきに終わらせましたｗ」

そりゃ！仕方ねえ！！（大笑）
さすがです、Ｏｇａｗａさん。全力でリスペクトできる回答です。

今回もスタジオ２４６でレコーディングです。


何度入ってもここはテンションあがるわー＾＾
機材ラブ

今回もギターは後入れなのでＺはお気楽～
って感じでスタジオ入ったんですが、
Ｍｉｈｉｒｏ「Ｚくん、ガイドでギター弾いて」

まじっすか？

ってことでギター弾くことに。
録音ブースのほうはVoとＢで埋まってたのでコントロールルームのほうで弾くことにしました。
ＭｉｈｉｒｏのGibsonをお借りしてラインで突っ込み、
Protoolsのプラグインで適当に音作ってもらいました。

ギターじゃかじゃかやってたらMasa氏が一言。
「君はそっちのほうが似合うんじゃないか？」

あらそう？んじゃこれMihiroからもらおうか？（笑）
まぁ、デニムに白Ｔならレスポールでしょう！（謎）

そんなこんなでレコーディング開始。
一曲目をさらっと流してコントロールルームでチェック。
再度レコーディングなんてことを繰り返しました。



しかしながら今回の曲はＢのＫｙｏｕｋｏちゃん大苦戦！！
みんなからいろいろ言われつつも頑張りました！
ついでにレコーディングエンジニアさんにも頑張っていただきました！（笑）
Ｏｇａｗａさんがさりげなくレコーディングの机に珈琲を置いておいたりするわけですよ。
さすがです！Ｏｇａｗａさん！
大人な対応ですねー！！

エンジニアさんへのプレッシャーのかけ方が！（笑）

そっちかい！と盛大に突っ込まれそうなのでフォローしますと
ほんとにＯｇａｗａさんはいい人ですよ＾＾

「Ｏｇａｗａさんの珈琲は高いですよー」などと
追い討ちをかけつつレコーディングは進みます（笑）

２曲目は録ってるときはすでに深夜だったかな？
やべー次の日俺ツーリングやん？と内心びくびくしていたＺをよそ目に
レコーディングは順調に遅れていきます（笑）

２曲目終わったころにはもうツーリングは諦めておりましたがね＾＾；

３曲目は前回のレコーディングトラックからドラムを抜き、
ドラムを新録するというものでしたが
普通ドラムにみんな合わせるでしょ？
逆って超ムズイんじゃね？と思ってましたが、ほんとにムズイ感じでしたよ。
いやードラムじゃなくって良かったわぁ・・・

そんなこんなで無事終了して帰宅するころにはＡＭ４；００をまわっておりましたよ・・・
当然次の日のツーリングはキャンセルしました。
うん、もうレコーディングの次の日に予定なんていれない＾＾；

みんなお疲れ！ よう頑張りました！！

今度整理したデーターをもらってからいよいよ自分のパートの録音です。
またフレーズ作りに頭悩ましそうです

ドラムはリズムの絶対的中心のイメージです。
あとから、みんなリズム感があるだろうとはいえ、それにグルーブするのは、リズム隊代表としてはきつそうですね！

ドラムはＺにとって未知すぎる楽器でして、Ｏｇａｗａさんの演奏を見ていて「すごいなぁ～」と関心するばかりですよ。

ここのスタジオは格安で本格的なレコスタ使えるのでいいですね＾＾
メンバー探してみては？

拙者がバンドやってた頃は2Tr38で録るのがあこがれでしたが、
今のレコーディングはProToolsなんですねぇ。
当時は2Tr19で自主制作LPが精一杯だったなぁ・・・(^^;)。

Ｚは最近やっとレコーディングを体験したのでProtools以前は知らないんですけど、大変だったんでしょうねぇ～。
エンジニアさんの作業見てると編集とかいとも簡単に出来ますけど、アナログだったころを考えると・・・＾＾；

一緒にやってるメンバーは年上なんですが、「安くなったなー」なんて言ってたんで、前はお金もずいぶんかかったんじゃないですか？

今は自宅である程度できてしまいますからね＾＾
便利になりました。
でも自宅でやってると妥協点が難しいですよね（笑）
終われなくなっちゃいます＾＾；
